Our Story
After losing my son, and life as I knew it being completely disrupted, I found myself in a place of darkness with overwhelming pain. Carrying the weight of generational ‘manhood’, talking about or even expressing my emotions was something that I was not equipped to do. I found myself pushing so much emotion down, that I created a time bomb of mental health issues, as well as entertained suicidal ideations. It came to a point where the pain was something I no longer wanted to bear, and I wanted out. Coming face to face with these thoughts and feelings left me no choice but to find a way through them.
I knew I wanted to live, I just didn’t know what to do with the pain. I began telling myself, if you feel like this tomorrow… I give you permission to leave, but today… Today you have to do everything humanly possible to change how you feel, and process what you feel in a healthy way.
This was the moment I began "Chasing Tomorrow". Taking an intentional approach to engage with my inner being, and finally address decades of pinned up emotions, generational trauma, and conditioning. Chasing Tomorrow is a personal journey through holistic healing modalities, coupled with science to face grief, trauma, and surviving the loss of a child. Chasing Tomorrow is my mantra created to fight depression and anxiety.
Chasing Tomorrow is for everyone. Anyone and everyone dealing with life’s adversities and in need of support to navigate those circumstances. Our primary focus as we launch our programs are young adults ages 10-18. As we expand our resources, we will also provide programs for BIPOC men, women, athletes, grief, as well as PTSD/Trauma specific programs and residencies.
